"theme"-day thursday Valentine's Day

Love Notes- Week 2

This month the theme for “Theme-day Thursday” is Love notes. I thought I would share some of the notes I’m leaving for the kids in their envelopes from the Love Notes Board.

The notes are silly and short- and not complicated at all, but the kids love them. {I know it’s more about the candy then the presentation anyway- so I don’t make it overly difficult} I always write one thing I love about that child each day on the back of the card.

I know the kids are really anxious to get the treats- but I think the love notes mean more to them at the end of the day. There have been so many more smiles, “I Love Yous” and kindness shown around our house since I started doing this. And, when I go to put the treats in my oldest son’s envelope- it gets tricky since he likes to save all the notes- that tells me something!
So, get out a post-it, a scratch pad, or just a random piece of paper- and tell someone you love them. It is amazing what happens when you do!
XOXO,
Amy
p.s. Please excuse the HORRIBLE pictures! I had to use my camera’s phone this week. 😛 But, we went to Best Buy today, got a new (albeit cheap) camera and we should have much better pictures from here on out. {hopefully}

    This is such a sweet idea. I bet your kids are so anxious to get their love notes. Umm, I don't know why I didn't just say 400, it would have been much easier to add in my non-math head. I guess I don't think well at midnight. ha-ha!
